Yet another reason not to cut library funding… Students are reading and remixing books like Toni Morrison’s A Mercy on their own time with students across the city to foster learning, teamwork, and media production. Seems like a crime to cut back on these types of opportunities.

I love my libraries
Please do not neglect my libraries. Though the schools have been slaughtered (FUND CPS!) , but learning hasn’t stopped. The library is my school as it sparks curiosity and provides fuel to keep it burning as I continue learning. The library is a haven of knowledge so sacred to this city and deserving of support.
